Join Barefoot Harry during PLAY MONTH for a FREE play-based, child-led, sensory experience, designed to connect you and your tamariki / moko with nature!The manu (birds), the ngārara (insects), the ngahere (bush), it’s all there waiting for us to explore in our local parks … and we reckon using all of our senses is the best way to connect with nature, Papatūānuku and each other!
An assortment of activities and invitations to play will be set up, each one focusing on one of our five senses. Activities will also focus on creating a sense of kaitiakitanga for our natural environment in a fun and interactive way.
