Greyhope Bay May bird survey (beginners welcome)

Learn about local species of birds living in and visiting our favourite corner of Aberdeen in this beginner-friendly session.

Join us for our monthly bird survey at Greyhope Bay. This is a relaxed session open to people of all skill levels; we want to help you learn more about local birds & connect with others.

Did you know over 200 different species of birds have been recorded around Greyhope Bay & Torry Battery? We're running monthly surveys to better understand how bird species use the site throughout the year so we can identify any action we can take to benefit birds.

A few key points:

• Please dress appropriately for the weather.
• We will be walking on uneven ground, so please wear sturdy footwear.
• Please bring your own binoculars if you have them. If not, you're welcome to borrow some of ours.
• The Greyhope Bay Cafe will be open, so you can pop in to grab yourself a warm drink after the session is over.
