Gregg Wright is in the top echelons of the world's great Blues guitarists!" according to the international publication Blues Matters. Inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in 2013, receiving the prestigious Albert King Lifetime Award presented to the world's outstanding Blues guitarist in 2021, and receiving the "Living Legend" Blues Award in 2019 from the City of Los Angeles.
Wright has toured extensively on his own and alongside Michael Jackson as part of the Jackson Victory Tour in 1984.
