Join us on Monday, November 7 as we host Greg Moga and Dabin Han, author and illustrator of The Journey of Neil, the Great Dixter Cat.
This magnificently illustrated true story takes readers on a journey with a delightful stray cat in Kabul, Afghanistan, through the history of the moguls, madmen and conquerors in the region to the loving men who rescued her and brought her to live out her days in the most beautiful wild garden in the world, the Great Dixter Garden in England. Inspiring, uplifting and true, this is a unique history and a beautifully illustrated depiction of the magical garden where the courageous cat Neil now resides happily.
Greg M. Moga is the Principal of Moga Investments LLC., providing angel investing to clean energy, biotechnology and media start-ups. Greg was the Executive Producer of American Public Television's Emmy-award winning series, The Artist Toolbox, which aired on Chicago's WTTW. He is the owner and Managing Director of the Seattle Sperm Bank (SSB), and CEO of the International Revenue Recovery Group (IRRG). Greg is a trustee of the Washington State Chapter of the Nature Conservancy, and serves on the International Board of Advisors (ICOA) of the National Geographic Society.
Dabin Han is a comic artist and children’s book illustrator. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and NPR.
