About this Event
This class is an introduction to the craft of greenwood carving. Greenwood is recently cut wood that has not been dried. It is ideal for new carvers since it is softer than seasoned wood and more enjoyable to work with. All levels of woodcarers are welcome to this class.
Everyone can use a bag clip! Whether you carve it for yourself or as a gift, you will alearn valuable woodcarving skills.
We will start by practicing safety and proper knife grips. After that we will work on carving your very own bag clip.
No experience is needed and carvers of all skill levels and abilities are welcome. All supplies and tools provided.
Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting full of wood chips and close toed shoes.
Please note: Norway House does not give refunds. If you are unable to attend the class, you are welcome to give your seat in class to another person.
This class is held at the same time as the Norway House Hygge Happy Hour. Come early, ge a BOGO glass of beer or wine and enjoy a bite to eat before class.
