Meet us in the River Park North Auditorium for the May meeting with guest speaker Skadi Kylander, who will present "The world in bird nests".This presentation will serve as an introduction to the animals and other organisms that may be found in bird nests and the interactions they have with one another and with birds. Skadi will also share some preliminary results of her research about these communities in Prothonotary Warbler nests in eastern North Carolina. Skadi is a PhD candidate and a NSF National Research Traineeship Coastal Community Environmental Data Scholars trainee at ECU. She has worked with Prothonotary Warblers since 2019 and loves exploring natural spaces.
