Calling all princes and princesses, heroes and villains, witches and wizards! Join Town Square BK for our popular Greenpoint Children's Halloween Parade and Spooktacular Party.

The FREE Greenpoint Children's Halloween Parade will step off around 12 Noon in McCarren Park (corner of Manhattan Avenue and Driggs Avenue). Costumed kids of all ages will march up Manhattan Avenue, past Hide & Seek to Greenpoint Avenue. We'll turn around at Greenpoint Avenue and march back to Hide & Seek.

The ticketed Spooktacular Party will be held indoors at Hide & Seek, located at 593 Manhattan Avenue, with timed 50-minute sessions at 10 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM and 2 PM. You'll pick the entry time of your choice when purchasing your ticket. Arts and crafts, live music, movie, candy! Don't be surprised when we shoo you out 10 minutes before the next hour to make room for the next set of little party-goers.

The Spooktacular Party tickets are $20 online in advance for kids, $30 day of event if supplies are available. $10 Special Parent tickets (will admit 2). Tickets are limited and they may sell out (just like they have in prior years!). So hurry, buy your tickets now and save!!!

Proceeds benefit Town Square BK, a North Brooklyn nonprofit that offers family and green programs including free SummerStarz movie nights, Schoolfest, Campfest, Cookies with Santa, Spring Egg Hunt, Greencycle Swaps, and Go Green BK hub. Town Square also sponsors local Brooklyn Boy Scouts Troop 26 and Cub Scouts Lucky Pack 7 (coed). Troop 26 meet at 5:30 PM on Thursdays in McCarren Park in Williamsburg/Greenpoint; Pack 7 meets at 6 PM on Fridays in American Playground, soon to return to on Fridays in St. John's Lutheran Church in Greenpoint.

GREENPOINT CHILDREN'S HALLOWEEN PARADE FAQs

When and where does the parade start? ANSWER: We step off at 12 Noon in McCarren Park (Manhattan Avenue and Driggs Avenue) in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

Will the NYPD Marching Band lead the parade again? ANSWER: YES! We can't wait!!

What is the parade route? ANSWER: We will march north on Manhattan Avenue past Hide & Seek to Greenpoint Avenue. We'll turn around at Greenpoint Avenue and march back to Hide & Seek.

Do I need to be in costume to join the parade? ANSWER: NO, but it will be more fun!

Do I need a ticket to join the parade? ANSWER: NO, but do get your FREE ticket!

Do I need to join the parade at a specific place? ANSWER: NO, jump in any time and any point along the parade route on Manhattan Avenue

Is the parade RAIN OR SHINE? ANSWER: YES (unless it's an absolute downpour).

Special note for little ones: a shopping cart or wagon makes for an amazing chariot or float that your little ones can ride in! They'll absolutely love the experience ~ mine always did!

Recommended ages: 2 to 8 years old, but everyone will enjoy the fun.

How long does the party last? ANSWER: 50-minute fun-filled sessions.

Do I need a ticket for the Spooktacular Party? ANSWER: YES. Each session costs $20 online for each child (including infants), $30 at the door. Each family can bring up to 2 adults with a special $10 Parent ticket (admits 2 parents) ($15 at door); all extra adults must get the regular $20 Adult ticket ($30 at door). Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Do infants need a ticket to enter the party? ANSWER: YES, space is limited and all children must have a ticket.
Will strollers be allowed inside? ANSWER: NO because space is limited. We recommend that you bring a sling for your baby. Otherwise, your stroller will have to be parked outside on the sidewalk.

Do adults need a ticket to enter the party? ANSWER: YES. What will be at the party? ANSWER: Arts/crafts, party games, contests, live music for the kids.

Is the party INDOORS? ANSWER: YES.

Can I get a refund? ANSWER: YES until 15 days before the event. No refunds will be provided afterwards.

Can I buy tickets at the event? ANSWER: MAYBE if supplies are available. Capacity is constrained and you won't want to risk getting shut out. Also, it will cost $10 more! So get your tickets now and save a lot!!
