On 28th November, Greenness are inviting you to the ALPHABET venue for a celebration of their sophomore album Honeymoons.Three years in the making, this new collection of songs playfully intertwines the theatrical energy of art-rock with orchestral, folk, jazz, chanson, retro pop, alternative, electronic and ambient influences.
The result is a lavish cornucopia of sounds led by driving beats, layered guitars and powerful vocals, with lyrical themes ranging from love to loneliness, gratitude to greed and desire to death.
For this project, Greenness have expanded from a duo to a full band of fantastic local musicians (including, for the first time, strings and woodwind), who will be joining them on stage for one night only at their Brighton release party!
Support comes from creative force of nature and acclaimed performer and poet Naomi Wood, magical and mischievous singer-songwriter Charlie O'Connor, witchy vocal ensemble the Coven Choir and a DJ set by Code South's Dom Hall to dance the night away... so come along for a memorable evening of live music, spellbinding songs & spoken word to light some sparks in the dark.
