Their best week of summer--and the spark that lights their future? Greenlight Maine.... also known as "Maine's Version of Shark Tank" is starting its inaugural Summer Camp for Kids to introduce students to all the opportunities that are available to them and how to take the next step in discovering their passions. This weeklong, immersive experience for kids ages 8–14 blends classic traditional summer fun with hands-on exposure to career choices and entrepreneurship.
Cost: $995 per child (Ages 8-14)
Camp Dates: Sunday, July 12 through Friday, July 17
Location: The beautiful campus of the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine.
Campers will meet CEOs and business leaders that will give them an inside look into their own organizations with personal real life examples of how they chose their jobs and steps to take along their journey.
There will be fun hands-on activities where campers can work together to run their own business and present as a group. This, combined with all the enjoyment of traditional camp activities.
Students will enjoy UNE’s private beach for campfires and toasting marshmallows, open fields for games, and plenty of time to make new friends—while sparking curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
The last day will be capped off with a celebration at Aquaboggan Water Park in Saco .
