It’s time to get out there and get your green-on—planting season has begun! Everyone is invited to join the first Greening Taupō community planting of the 2025 season along Karetoto Road, opposite the Huka Honey Hive, brought to you by the Lake Taupō Trail Festival, Total Sport, and Taupō Supercars.Come along, plant some trees, and enjoy a fun morning out. Wear your gumboots, bring your garden gloves and a spade if you’d like—there will be holes dug! We’ll be planting rain or shine, so bring suitable wet weather gear if needed. Parking is available at the Huka Honey Hive, with a short walk across the road to the site. After the planting, enjoy a sausage sizzle and a hot drink, thanks to MB Century. See you there!
