About this Event
Nigel, Richard and Stef are getting ready for another Green Signals Jolly. And this time, we’re heading to the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway for a summer steam trip in Brontë country!
Join us at the home of the iconic 1970s film adaptation of The Railway Children for private workshop and shed tours, plenty of steaming along the line from Keighley to Oxenhope and back in a private carriage, live talks, and more.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS FOR THOSE STAYING IN THE AREA THE NIGHT BEFORE
(These appear as add-ons if you scroll down when booking your ticket!)
Dinner option
If you’re planning to stay overnight in Keighley or the surrounding areas the night before the Jolly, why not join us for dinner? We’ll be meeting at a local restaurant (details of which we’ll share with you after booking) for a good old natter before the big day. The price for this includes 3 courses and we’ll send you the menu in advance to make your choices from and advise of any dietary requirements.
Breakfast option
And if you’re staying overnight, why not join us at the KWVR for 08:30 for what we’re told is a fantastic Full English Breakfast in the Old Parcels Office! Spend a bit more time chatting trains with your fellow Green Signallers (and us of course) and be in prime position to get the best seats for the live chat at 10:00.
GOLD MEMBERS
If you’re a Green Signals Gold member and you fancy joining us for the whole jolly, including dinner the night before and breakfast on the morning, we have 25 extra special discounted tickets available to allow you to enjoy the whole event at the discounted member rate, with an additional £15 off for being one of our biggest supporters.
PLEASE NOTE:
Sturdy footwear is required for the workshop tours – no open-toed shoes or high heels please!
The workshop tours are not suitable for wheelchairs unfortunately. We are able to use a wheelchair accessible carriage for the train though, so if you have mobility requirements, please let us know and we’ll chat through alternatives for the tour sections of the trip.
