About this Event
The UK already has around 430,000 'green' jobs worth £41.2 billion. In the South West region, more than 50,000 new green jobs are needed to meet environmental targets. But how much do our Global Majority communities know about green jobs and skills opportunities? And how much does the environmental sector know about Global Majority skills and leadership?
In this interactive workshop, we watch films on the innovative practice from the Nature Rising Programme, and Changing Nature project. We ask what is needed to bridge the gaps and open up opportunities for Global Majority communities who may be interested in green skills and jobs in future. Join us to share your ideas!
