About this Event
his fun, interactive visual arts session will explore our sense of identity and culture through the universal language of food!
Thurrock-based Artist Marsha Ashley will lead activities developed through her ‘Kitchen Cupboard’ series. Participants will explore the textures, colours and design of different foods, which in turn will encourage the sharing of conversation, memories and recipes. By the end of the session, you will have created a beautiful piece of artwork to take home and will be inspired as to what you can create on a budget from everyday materials.
Together, we will explore our creativity, share our cultures and traditions, learn about others and celebrate our diverse community.
