Green Energy Projects & Insurance Opportunities

Green Energy project risks, also known as renewable energy, are being developed in Singapore and the region. Reinsurers need to understand and appreciate the technical challenges of such developments.

Various techniques and procedures related to green energy are in place, and governments in the Southeast Asian region are increasingly encouraging such initiatives. Solar power farms, for example, are already being built in Singapore, and more such developments, including wind, wave, and geothermal projects, are being sought after.

This two-day program, including a visit to a green energy plant in Singapore, aims to raise awareness and highlight technical considerations in planning and designing green energy projects, allowing participants to appreciate better the risks associated with such projects.
