Green City Blues present a friendly, informal evening of Blues dancing. We will be covering some of the fundamentals of Blues dancing in an all levels, everyone-dances-with-everyone-else class.
No experience of dancing and no partner necessary. Our aim is to get people who are completely new to Blues dancing out on the dance floor and having fun, whilst also giving people who are more familiar with Blues a chance to refresh and hone their skills. If you do other kinds of dancing you'll notice improvements in the quality of your movement there too. Whether you usually only dance alone in your kitchen, or if you're dancing every other week day, there'll be something for you.
Doors at 6.15pm, class 6.30-8pm. After the class we'll play a utterly lovely tunes for social dancing, so you can enjoy getting to know your new skills!
Entry is £5/£3 for the class and social, or £3/£2 for just the social. We want to make dancing accessible to everyone, so we run a self-selecting concessions systems. Whenever money is tight feel free to pay the discounted rate. We will be accepting cash or card payments on the door. If you rock up late just find Lisa after the class to experience the joy of paying!

The other half we will re-invest in the Sheffield Blues Dance scene, allowing us to do things like putting on more band nights!
We'll be upstairs from the well stocked bar at Shakespeare’s pub, on Gibraltar Street, Sheffield, S3 8UB.
