About this Event
Enjoy an afternoon of music, dance, Greek cuisine, and conversation, and discover a meaningful historical connection between Greek Independence and USS Constitution. This program will open with a welcome from Consul General Symeon Tegos, followed by a brief historical discussion with Dr. Nicholas Ganson, Dean of Hellenic College, and Carl Herzog, USS Constitution Museum Public Historian, on Constitution’s connections to Greek Independence.
You’ll also experience performances by the Saint Romanos Choir of HCHC and the Metropolis of Boston Dance Group. After the program, stay for a reception featuring Greek cuisine.
Make the most of your visit: Guests are encouraged to arrive at the Navy Yard at 3 pm to visit USS Constitution and explore the USS Constitution Museum galleries before the program begins.
