Flowers For Jayne, Sydney’s premier indie pop-punk-rock trio, are known for their powerful and razor-edge performances jammed with catchy power-pop creations from the pen of ex-Lime Spider and singer-guitarist, Jayne Murphy. She has a reputation for raucous rhythm and searing solos. With melodic lyrics and anthemic messages, you just can’t help but to sing along. Don’t miss Jayne and her seasoned rhythm section, bass player Marcel Chaloupka (Smith, Electric Pandas), and drummer Trevor Shaskey (Fifty Shades Of Lazy, NZ) performing the best FFJ songs from Dangerous Woman (debut album) and In The Keep (EP), the commercially successful single "Evil Minds", and of course their latest single, "Greedy Rich Boys". This is the 6th show of their nine-date national tour.
Flowers For Jayne will share the stage with very special guests Too Slow Joe and Flavuh.
Too Slow Joe are a three-piece band, residing on the south coast of NSW. Sonically compared to Queens of the Stone Age and Kyuss to Powderfinger, Too Slow Joe fuse straight up rock and bluegrass / delta blues with desert stoner rock. Amongst the wall of sound you will find Dan Prescott on vocals and guitar, Paul "Rex" Riley on bass and Nathan Keen bashing the skins. As far as their musical intentions are concerned, the band members say that like Jack Black's character in School of Rock says "ya gotta stick it to da man!".
Flavuh are a pop-punk and nu-metal inspired band from the South Coast, blending fat riffs, catchy hooks, and unapologetically edgy lyrics into a sound reminiscent of acts such as Blink-182, Limp Bizkit and Silverchair. Since 2021, the band have released three studio singles across all platforms and lit up stages at Wanderer Festival, Tattered and Torn Festival, and supported major acts like Regurgitator. With a mission to bring heavy music to listeners beyond the hard rock scene, Flavuh are carving their own path from the sleepy to big stages all over.
