The Grand Valley River Fest (GVRF), Gear Swap is focusing on safety & water gear but biking and climbing gear is also welcomed. Gear that is broken or damaged will not be accepted. All inflatable craft must be inflated by seller and remain inflated to be sold. This is a chance for local vendors and enthusiasts to get together and swap gear, buy gear and tell stories.
Individual sellers can have a 5-item maximum, or you have the option to purchase booth space within the Gear Swap Area.
For Sellers with 5 or less items GVRF will retain 15% of the selling price from the items sold. You will be paid 85% of all equipment sold, there are no markdowns during or after the Swap. Sellers will be responsible for bringing, pricing, and removing any unsold gear. The Gear Junction & Grand Junction Adventures personnel will be running the gear swap. They will be responsible for displaying and collecting payment if item is sold. If an item is sold GVRF will cut a check with a percentage of sales owed to seller. Checks will be forward by mail within approximately two weeks of the gear swap sale to allow for all payments to properly process.
Sellers purchasing Gear Swap booth space have the following options: 10'x10'~$50, 20'x20'~$100, 30'x30'~$150 or 40'x40'~$250 (tent, table & chairs not included in price). Booth occupants will be responsible for pricing, displaying, selling/ swapping and removing any unsold gear.
All Sellers must pre-book items or pay booth space prior to event date.

Money collected from the Grand Valley River Fest Gear Swap will go towards event beneficiaries' Rivers Edge West & the Save-A-Life Jacket Program, Colorado Discover Ability and GVRF.
