This program offers a rare opportunity to hear directly from artist Bradley Weyandt while experiencing his work up close within Greater Columbus. In dialogue with Rae Root, CMA’s Roy Lichtenstein Curatorial Fellow and curator of Greater Columbus, Weyandt will reflect on his practice, process, and ideas while in the gallery with his work.This program is free for members, $5 for nonmembers.

About the Artist
Bradley Weyandt is a visual artist who uses a knitting machine to transform screen-based media into shimmering textiles. His work explores the space between digital and physical, challenging how images are seen and experienced. Weyandt holds an MFA from The Ohio State University (2022). His work has been exhibited at Skylab Gallery, 934 Gallery, The Ministry of Culture & Tourism, and ROY G BIV Gallery (Columbus, OH); The Sculpture Center of Cleveland (Cleveland, OH); Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, SPACE Gallery, and 937 Gallery (Pittsburgh, PA); and The Westmoreland Museum of American Art (Greensburg, PA). He has received support from the Ohio Arts Council’s Individual Excellence Award and Artist Opportunities grants, as well as multiple Greater Columbus Arts Council grants. He has been an artist-in-residence at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts (Nebraska City, NE) and Touchstone Center for Crafts (Farmington, PA).
