About this Event
The Great Straw Maze is built with over 1500 Large straw bales. It is a unique experience, more challenging than Corn Maze and it can be as scary as a haunted house after dark. The straw maze is built with towering walls separated by short narrow walkways that are 8 feet tall! The Great Straw Maze is built on approximately 1 acre in the West Acers Mall parking lot. Although its size is much smaller than most corn mazes, the average time to complete the maze is approximately 1 hour, similar to a larger corn maze. Most participants prefer this because it provides the same amount of difficulty in a fraction of the walking distance, and you are in a parking lot, so you don’t have to deal with muddy shoes afterwards. This makes the maze stroller and wheelchair accessible too.
Please feel free to show up any time on your selected date. The Great Straw Maze hours of operation are as follows:
Monday-Thursday 10am - 10pm CDT
Friday & Saturday 10am - 11pm CDT
Sunday 10am - 10pm CDT
Come and have some fun at the Great Straw Maze. Take your fall pictures with one of our photo opportunity areas and don’t forget to bring home your pumpkins from our pumpkin patch for decorating and carving too. Just remember that there is no cheating with a straw maze. So, get ready to experience a real challenge!
All participants must follow the rules of the maze posted at the entrance for the safety of all of our participants. Failure to follow the rules could result in ejection from the event without refund.
