Great Saw Mill River Cleanup 2026: Walsh Road/War Memorial Field, Yonkers

Join us for our 17th Annual Great Saw Mill River Cleanup!

Walsh Road & War Memorial Field site: This site runs along the Saw Mill River on both sides: War Memorial Field and Walsh Road in Yonkers. Parking is available at parking lot on Copcutt Ln at the bagged meters. From the parking lot take the pedestrian bridge over the river to get to Walsh Rd and then turn left on Walsh Rd to get to the sign in table.

Bus Directions: Bus 5 or 8 - Nepperhan Ave @ Walsh Rd or Copcutt La., or Bus 9- Walsh Rd @ 95-97.

Site Activies: Volunteers will be conducting a garbage cleanup along the Saw Mill River.

Site Instructions: Wear sturdy shoes (NO FLIP-FLOPS!), wear long pants, bring gloves if you have them. Bring water. We'll have equipment, trash bags, and gloves.
