Great North Run Shake Out Run at Kip & Nook
The day before the big run deserves a proper send-off and there's no better way to do it than with good people, fresh legs, and great coffee.
Whether you're toeing the start line in Newcastle on Sunday or just coming along for the some morning miles, this is the most social run club event in the area.
Runners, non-runners, supporters and nervous first-timers. Everyone is welcome, no exceptions.
Lace up and join us on Saturday 12 September for a morning that's equal parts movement and good vibes. With a live DJ to get you warmed up and cheering you home, plus our legendary coffee and freshly baked treats to refuel afterwards. This is your perfect pre-race ritual (or just a brilliant Saturday morning out).

The Morning Breakdown
🏃 Arrival & Introductions - 10:00am Please arrive for 10:00, gives us time for a proper warm-up and to get to know everyone before we set off.
🏃 5.5K Run - 10:30am
🏃 10K Race - 10:35am Two prizes up for grabs! The first man and first woman across the line each win a Kip & Nook voucher worth £150.
