Get your charity place for the Great North Run 2026
The world's largest half marathon, 13.1 miles of iconic scenery running through Newcastle, Gateshead, and South Shields. Every step you take with #TeamCNE will create a life-changing impact for babies, children, young people and families across the North East.
Whether you're an experienced runner, taking on your first half marathon, or simply looking for a new challenge, #TeamCNE is for everyone. You don't need to be fast- just ready to have fun, challenge yourself, and be a part of a supportive team doing something amazing!
By taking one of our charity spaces, we ask that you aim for a minimum suggested fundraising target of £300. However, we understand times are tough! Our fundraising team will support you every step of the way with tips, guidance and resources.

If it's past the deadline to transfer your place, we kindly ask that you donate the remaining balance of your discounted spot, which is £25.
