High school students and their families are invited to attend Great Lakes Bay Region College Night on Wednesday, March 18, from 6-8 p.m. at Saginaw Valley State University. The event will provide students with opportunities to explore college options, learn about financial aid and receive assistance completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).The interactive information session will include an optional Financial Aid 101 presentation from 5-5:45 p.m., led by MI Student Aid, which will cover the basics of financial aid and available resources for college-bound students.
During College Night, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from more than 30 colleges, ask questions about academic programs and admissions, and learn about the next steps in the college application process.
A FAFSA workshop will also be available throughout the evening, offering one-on-one help with financial aid questions and FAFSA completion.
The Great Lakes Bay Region College Night is designed to help students and families better understand college planning and financial aid options while connecting directly with institutions from across the region.
The event will take place on SVSU’s campus. Registration is encouraged and can be completed online.
