About this Event

Join us at Stirling Distillery for Tipples, Talks and Tour – a relaxed, small-group networking event for women who enjoy Scotland’s vibrant food and drink scene.

This Women in Drinks event is open to all women, whether you work in the drinks industry, run your own business, or simply have an interest in learning more about the people and stories behind Scotland’s drinks sector.

Hosted at Stirling Distillery, the first legal distillery in Stirling in over 170 years and Scotland’s smallest whisky distillery, you’ll enjoy a guided tour and hear how founders June and Cameron McCann have built an award-winning visitor experience alongside their small-batch gin, produced in 170-bottle runs.

Guests will be welcomed with the distillery’s signature cocktail, the Bloody Scotland (with a non-alcoholic version also available).

During the event, Martha Bryce, from Sound Bite PR, which specialises in PR and social media for the food, drink and hospitality industries, will give a short talk. She will highlight some examples of effective storytelling from the Scottish drinks industry, and provide practical tips and takeaways for producers of all sizes.

Lunch will be prepared by the talented catering students at Forth Valley College, with Iain Calder, Hospitality Business Manager, sharing insights into the Scottish provenance of some of the ingredients used in the dishes we’ll be enjoying.

The event includes:

· Welcome Bloody Scotland cocktail (alcoholic or non-alcoholic)

· Guided tour of Stirling Distillery

· Talk: Top Tips and Takeaways of Effective Storytelling in the Scottish drinks industry

· Lunch prepared by Forth Valley College catering students

· Insights from Iain Calder on the Scottish provenance of some of the menu ingredients
