Do you have a talent that you want to show the world?! A great place to start is the Fur Rondy Great Alaska Talent Competition! Some of our past winners have gone on to some major things!
- In 2014, Malie Delgado (Kaercher) won. She was recruited there for the Miss. Alaska Pageant where she took home the crown!
- Then in 2017, Emma Broyles took our Grand Champion title and later went on in the year to win Miss. Alaska Outstanding Teen. She didn’t stop there and started winning national competitions. You might have heard of one of them….Miss. America! Yes, in 2022, Emma was our Miss. Alaska and went on to the nationals and was the very first Alaskan to win the title of Miss. America! And what a job she has done.
Dreams do come true, if you work at it. And a great place to start is local! The Great Alaska Talent Competition has helped many people move forward in their dreams. Are you one of them? Join us this year for the preliminary rounds and see if you have what it takes to win!
Rules for preliminaries:
- ALL ACTS NEED TO STAY UNDER 2 MINUTES. 2:10 minutes is the hard cut off time. If you go past that time frame, you will be disqualified.
- All acts need to be family-friendly: anything lewd or inappropriate will be excused.
- Singing, dancing, instrumental, comedic interpretation, belly dancers, yo-yo extraordinaire, actors, etc. - all are welcome!
Talent Judging:
• Talent, Technical Ability, Pitch, Intonation
• Showmanship & Entertainment Value
• Stage Ready, Appearance, Style & Dress
Participants in the Great Alaska Talent Competition are required to accept the waiver contained on the ticket purchasing page.
Contestants that advance to the finals will be held at the following:
