Join the local creative community at the Anchorage Design Week's Happy Hour and Awards presentation, hosted at the Anchorage Museum’s Seed Lab on Thursday, February 20th from 5p to 7p.
Make new friends and connect with old pals as we gather ahead of special presentations focused on housing, neighborhoods, and the value of community in Anchorage.
Learn about upcoming projects and development challenges in our city by local grassroots organizers and creatives as they share their experiences and advocate for creative solutions to make Anchorage a better place. Free admission includes light appetizers and registrants receiving one drink ticket for use at the cash bar.
Join the Alaska Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects as they announce and celebrate the 2025 Professional Awards.
This collaborative event with the Anchorage Assembly, the Alaska Chapter ASLA, and community partners is made possible with support by the Anchorage Museum.

Anchorage Design Week: February 19-23, 2025
Organized by the Anchorage Museum with numerous community partners, Anchorage Design Week is an annual gathering of creative minds to promote and inspire place-based design and imagine the future of our city and the lifeways of Northern regions. Design Week welcomes community members and creatives to consider the role of design in advancing positive futures through visuals, interventions, workshops, and conversations. In 2025 we will consider how sustainable materials and practices foster inclusivity and community while challenging designers to elevate their work products, from brands to buildings.
As we celebrate what makes Alaska distinct, we look forward to connecting with you and our community - and maybe shaking off a bit of cabin fever - as Anchorage Design Week again coincides with Anchorage Fur Rendezvous festivities in late February 2025.
Anchorage Design Week is a project of the Anchorage Museum in collaboration with the Alaska Design Forum, the Municipality of Anchorage, Alaska Chapter American Society of Landscape Architects, University of Alaska Anchorage, NeighborWorks Alaska, and AIGA Alaska. Anchorage Design Week is a member of World Design Weeks.
