Gratitude in Motion 2024: Together we will move our bodies, practice mindfulness, commune with nature, and build community!
A gratitude nature walk is a beautiful way to immerse yourself in nature while fostering a sense of appreciation and mindfulness. Each month I will pick a new location in the East Bay or return to beloved ones. July we will walk the Montclair Railroad Trail. We will meet by the Montclair Parking Garage at the corner of Lasalle/Lucas Ave. To get to the trail we have to walk up some stairs and a short steep paved walkway. Please note there are no bathrooms on the trail. Please stop at Safeway which is a block away (2096 Mountain Blvd, Oakland, CA 94611). Follow me so you get notified when I create a new event for the following month.

-We will focus on cultivating gratitude by encouraging participants to actively acknowledge and share the good in their life. We'll also take time to appreciate the beauty and gifts of nature.
-You'll have the the opportunity to connect with others in a meaningful way. Who knows you might find a regular walking partner.
-Walking has been shown to boost mood and reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety. The combination of physical activity, fresh air, and exposure to nature during a walk can contribute to improved mental health.
-Walking can improve cardiovascular health, strengthen bones and muscles, enhance balance and coordination.
-Get a dose of vitamin D from the sun! This is crucial for various bodily functions, including maintaining strong bones, supporting the immune system, and regulating mood.
