This is a favorite annual event where we express gratitude for our community and our history here at the Firehouse 5 ? This is a time for expressing appreciation for each other with sweet notes and sweeter dances. The music will be more blues-centric mixed with our usual fusion! Theme nights are potlucks, bring a dish or NA beverage to share ?️What to expect:
Fusion dancing allows you to blend different dance styles together to create a unique experience with each partner. The lesson covers core principles of partner dance such as frame, connection and musicality, and how to use them to dance with partners of all different backgrounds. Our teachers come from a wide range of dances and bring their own flavor and skill set to each lesson for new content every class. No partner or prior dance experience is required.
6:50PM to 7:00PM - Check-in and begin warm-up
7:00PM to 8:00PM Lesson taught by Cierra Tunquist
8:00PM to 12:30AM - Social dance with THREE DJ's Karolos Notis, Tony Sciscio & Sammie Anne McKibben AND a live saxophone mini-set by DJ Audyssey
Cost:
$10 for the lesson
$15-20 sliding scale for the social dance
$20-25 sliding scale for the lesson + social dance
