About this Event
Nestled along our beautiful coastline, Long Beach Cleanup is dedicated to preserving the natural beauty of our beaches. We are on a mission to combat marine pollution, protect coastal ecosystems, and inspire sustainable habits.
Through weekly cleanup events we empower individuals of all ages to take action for the environment. By removing trash and raising awareness about the impact of litter we aim to create lasting change in our community.
Our mission is to create a cleaner, healthier coastline by combining the spirit of community with a laid-back approach to beach cleanup. We believe in making a positive impact while enjoying the beauty of the ocean, fostering awareness of environmental preservation through fun, relaxed, and inclusive efforts. Together, we can keep our beaches pristine, one beach cleanup at a time.
On Friday, June 26th, Grassi volunteers will particpate in a beach cleanup to make a positive impact on our environment

Additional Information:
- What should I wear? Wear comfortable clothes, dress appropriately for the weather.
- Long Beach Cleanup will provide all supplies needed for the day. Such as bags, gloves, and garbage pickers. They will also have hand sanitizer for use before, during and after the event. Use of reusable garbage bags and gloves is encouraged
- Please note that a day pass is required to access the beach. This can be purchased and expensed through STAR.
- This volunteer opportunity is available to Jericho office and Ronkonkoma office employees only.
