About this Event
Tag along for Wagnificent adventures with adorable dog Thunder and her favorite human, Sage, the young graphic novel series perfect for fans of PAWCASSO, ANIMAL RESCUE FRIENDS, PAWS, and KATIE THE CATSITTER... and anyone who has ever pondered the secret life of their four-legged sidekick. Get ready to feel ALL THE WAGS! The books even include nonfiction backmatter for young readers to learn more about their favorite furry friends.
On October 6 at Elk Grove's only bookstore, homeschoolers can come for a school presentation at 12:30. After school at 4:00, kids can come meet the author, ask their questions, and get books signed by the author/illustrator!
Preorder your hardcover or paperback copies of Wagnificent: The Adventures of Thunder and Sage and Wagnificent: A New Dog in the Den from us to get them signed.
About the graphic novelist: Bethanie Murguia lives in the Bay Area with three humans, two dogs, and one bearded dragon. Her dogs have trained her to be on the lookout for quail, squirrels, and suspicious cats at all times. Like her dogs, Bethanie has short hair, loves popcorn, and enjoys howling. She received her MFA in illustration from the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
