Georgia has been writing grants for over 30 years; in addition, she has served as a grant maker, competitive reviewer and trainer. As part of that process, she has workedwith boards, leaders, staff, volunteers and consumers; offering a wide angle organizational lens to reaching grant goals. Ranging from grass roots to global organizational grants - Georgia and her team work with clients in articulating their programmatic visions into successful and effective grants, and other supportive fund raising and communication materials.
GRANTS 1.0 equips participants with an understanding of what it takes to prepare and submit a grant, as well as understand the full scope of grant relations. If you are thinking of starting a program / organization that utilizes grants - it is essentials to learn the basics of writing, researching, obtaining, maintaining, operations and strategies within the grant system.
Added Value: A grant should have at least a 2-year shelf-life. The content that is created is a living, breathing document and much of the content can be used in other marketing and communication documents. Thus, even if you don't get the first grant you apply to - the value still exists.

Process, Content and Readiness
The process of writing and going after a grant has unique steps that raise your chances for success; the course includes a review of the internal and external mechanics of going after a grant. This process is supported by strong written content that tells the story of the organization in alignment with grant criteria; we will do a general content review in this course and a look at all supporting documents that will be required.
