Join us for an enlightening Dharma talk with Geshe Ngawang Phende, a renowned teacher from the Drepung Loseling Monastery, who will guide us on transforming negative emotions. Meditation and mindfulness is a tool to help us on the path towards relieving the sufferings of life by changing our mindset, discovering our inner self, and realizing reality.
The first Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm is the talk (~ 1 hour), followed by meditation (~ 15 minutes).
- Due to Lunar New Year, February's Wednesday talk will be on Feb 12. Preceding it at 6:30pm is a Medicine Buddha chanting ceremony in Vietnamese, all welcome to attend.
The second Sundays of the month is basic guided meditation at 2pm.
All are welcome to both of these events, in English.
Atlanta Grant Park Meditation is based at Chua Quang Minh, one of ATL's oldest Buddhist temples. We blend ancient wisdom with modern practices to bring peace to our fast-paced community. Everyone is welcome to attend, and events are offered for free.
