Join Susan with Belfire Botanicals as she brings us through some ancient plant wisdom.Learn about the innate folk plant wisdom that especially women carried and practiced in Appalachia. We will discuss traditional Appalachian plants/herbs, how they were used, and how they may still support us today.
You are encouraged to bring in any spring plants growing locally, in your yard or fields, that you may want to identify or talk about.
You will receive a very informative handout to carry home. Included will be a glossary of basic herbal terms as well a list of recommended herbs to plant so that you can start your own herbal apothecary.
