About this Event
Grande Première 2026 is the annual fashion showcase of the Richard Robinson Fashion Design Academy, celebrating the creativity and craftsmanship of Canada’s emerging designers. First-year students present couture and historical designs, while second-year students debut complete collections marking the culmination of their training.
More than a fashion show, Grande Première celebrates emerging Canadian talent and the future of fashion. The evening includes a professionally produced runway presentation, VIP reception, and the Designer of the Year award.
Welcoming over 700 guests annually, the event has become a highlight of Ottawa’s fashion community, showcasing the Academy’s dedication to excellence in Haute Couture education and craftsmanship.
