About this Event
Saturday 6th, 13th December | 2-4pm | £30
Tutor: David Keys
Join us for a special hands-on workshop where generations come together to create, learn, and share. Grandads and grandsons will work side by side, exploring the timeless craft of woodcarving in a relaxed and friendly setting.
Together, you’ll be introduced to the traditional use of shavehorses while carving your very own Sprig Vases – simple yet beautiful wooden forms. You’ll also get the chance to craft unique pendants from reclaimed wood, giving new life to old timber while making a personal keepsake to treasure or gift.
This workshop is all about slowing down, sharing skills, and enjoying the satisfaction of working with your hands. No prior experience is needed – just a willingness to try something new and spend meaningful time together.
One ticket covers a place for a grandad and a grandson on this course
