Info: We are going to take the journey from acute to post-acute withdrawal over a three hour course. We will start with acute withdrawal to understand the first 14 days of stopping use and treatment moving through the pink cloud and wall phases to maintaining and beyond. Discussion will include signs and symptoms, brain and body function, classifications of substances and modalities. We will also take this time to discuss our language when working with consumers or families presenting with substance use.
