Departing from Pleasant Ridge, you’ll head west to Grand Rapids for a day that transitions from the vibrant colors of Chihuly to the mystical atmosphere of the Grand Rapids Lantern Festival.Spend your afternoon at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park for a rare, large-scale exhibition by world-renowned artist Dale Chihuly.

As the sun sets, the zoo transforms into a magical glowing landscape. Follow a one-mile path through over 50 handcrafted Chinese lanterns, including massive dragons, shimmering zodiac animals, and interactive light displays.
