I chose May 1st with a lot of intention. Traditionally known as May Day, it’s an old celebration of spring, abundance, creativity, and community. Historically it marked the turning of the season 🌷 when people gathered to celebrate growth, beauty, and new beginnings.
This year it also falls on a Full Moon, which felt like the perfect moment to open something built with so much vision and heart. A day about celebrating life, creativity, and community felt exactly right for the beginning of this space.
The grand opening will be a full weekend celebration, and I want to incorporate as many local and small businesses as possible. We’ll have fun little touches throughout the event — including a dirty soda bar — and I’ll be handing out goody bags filled with local and small business info to help circulate and support our community.
