We are excited to announce the grand opening of the Blue Whale Visitor Center, taking place on Saturday, May 30. This will be a full day of festivities celebrating Catoosa and one of the most iconic destinations on Route 66, and we would love for you to join us.Official Schedule of Events:
8:00 a.m. – Blue Whale 5K and Fun Run
12:00 p.m. – Vendor Market Opens
2:00 p.m. – Ribbon Cutting and Remarks
4:00-8:00 p.m. – Live Music
8:00 p.m. – Firework Grand Finale
The day will kick off at 8:00 a.m. with the Blue Whale 5K and Fun Run. Beginning at noon, guests can shop a variety of vendors featuring crafts, art, handmade goods, and unique items, and enjoy delicious offerings from our food and beverage vendors - including Cabin Boys Brewery.
At 2:00 p.m., we will host the official ribbon-cutting and remarks, marking the formal opening of the Blue Whale Visitor Center. From 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., attendees can enjoy live music, followed by an end-of-night fireworks finale at 8:00 p.m. A show you won’t want to miss.
