Practitioner Assisted Stretching is now available in the Tri-Cities. The press and public are invited to the grand opening of Stretch Zone Johnson City on Jan 12, 2023.The event will take place at 3020 Franklin Terrace between 4pm and 6pm. Guests will be treated to food and beverages and free sample stretches.
We are thrilled to bring practitioner assisted stretching to the Tri-Cities. In the few weeks we have been open many of our clients are already experiencing life changing benefits from stretching. Our clients range from high school athletes all the way up to grandparents in their eighties who want to regain mobility that they have lost over the years. We are here to help our clients do the things they want or need to do more easily and with less pain.
Using patented equipment, our Stretch Zone practitioners follow specific methods and protocols to properly position, stabilize, isolate, and manipulate muscles using powerful principles of neuromuscular behavior.

Stretch Zone is based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and founded by Jorden Gold, who discovered his passion for stretching as he helped rehabilitate his grandfather who had become bedridden from complications of diabetes. He realized his desire to help “everyone’s grandfather” live their best life. After several years of working with celebrities and professional athletes in every major sport, he stepped away from it all and began to develop the protocols we now use and teach them to practitioners so he could take his program to the masses.
The Johnson City franchise is owned by Kristy Dunn who is a lifelong resident of the Tri-Cities and ETSU graduate. When looking for business opportunities in the health and wellness field, she discovered Stretch Zone and immediately knew it would be a perfect fit for Johnson City. She has always been a believer in massage therapy, chiropractic care, and yoga all as ways to care for our bodies. Practitioner assisted stretching is the perfect complement to that and meets a need that has not been available in our area until now. The idea of being able to help people live healthier, more fulfilling lives with less pain while at the same time being able to provide good jobs has been extremely rewarding.
