About this event
Graham Hudson's work ranges from explosive, challenging and chaotic - to calm and meditative. Working with layers and attention to detail, Graham creates atmospheric pieces - primarily acrylic on canvas. Graham works often in the abstract, as well as hyper realistic portraiture.
Angels is an exploration of the celestial and the divine, taking inspiration from deep space photography. The series is an interpretation of our relationship with the unknowable, unreachable, and that which is impossible to comprehend.

The exhibition will be hosted in Mustard Tree's newly refurbished 'Olive Branch' training café on Thursday 18th August (6pm - 8pm). Graham will be conducting a live painting, and works will be available to purchase on the night (with 50% of the proceeds being donated to Mustard Tree).
A word from Graham
"Mustard Tree gave me the opportunity to paint again when I arrived at the centre in 2009, when I was in desperate need of love and support. I received both along with much needed forgiveness and chances. As a service user and volunteer, I began and developed a series of Creative Programmes. Creativity and the opportunity to express it have helped change my life massively, positively and continues to do so".
