Come join us here at Grow A Pear Farm for a grafting workshop, where you will learn how to propagate your own fruit trees. We will share with you the time tested methods of grafting and teach you the proper selection of scions and rootstocks. We will also discuss how to convert old, or less desirable fruit tree varieties into your favorite fruit with easy to learn methods. You can even release your inner Frankenstein and make a tree with multiple varieties!
Another part of this class will be planting a tree here in our orchard, we will show you proper planting techniques and the soil amendments needed. At the end of the class we will be giving each participant an apple tree of their choice from our nursery to take home with them. Trees will also be available to purchase at any time. Please see our website for a list of varieties, which will be released on February 1, 2026.
We ask for a $20 donation to participate. The class duration will vary, but plan for 3 hours, so bring a snack and water. There will be a limited number of attendees, so reach out as soon as possible. Contact us by calling, texting, or email to reserve your spot today.
