Join the Graduate Council Community Initiatives for a Turkish Lamps Workshop, a cozy, hands-on evening where creativity meets tradition ✨
In this guided workshop, you’ll create your own Turkish mosaic piece, choosing one of two options during registration:
- a mini table lamp, or
- a mosaic candle holder
Both options are available in limited quantities, so availability will depend on what is selected at the time of registration.
No prior experience is needed - just bring your curiosity and creativity! This relaxed, social event is a great way to unwind, meet fellow graduate students, and make something beautiful to take home.

Spots are limited, so be sure to register early!
REFUNDS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED IF REQUESTED WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE EVENT. See information here for reselling tickets.
Re-sellers and purchasers must coordinate payment independently. UChicago Grad Council will not facilitate any transfers.
Once payment has been coordinated, resellers can change the name on their ticket to the purchaser.
