The University of Chicago Graduate Council invites you to join other UChicago Grad students for the debut Winter flagship event - the Maroon Masquerade!
Join us for a night of food, drinks, dancing and debauchery at Joy District, located in the heart of River North in downtown Chicago.

Event Information:
Tickets include admission to the Joy District (we’ve got a full venue buyout!), open bar access (wine, beer, and soft drinks), and gourmet catering. The event will also feature a DJ and professional photographer*.
As this is a full venue buyout, Joy District will be closed to the public for the duration of our event. If you'd like to celebrate with us, make sure you snag a ticket!
Joy District is easily accessible by public transportation, but if you choose to drive, valet is offered for $25.
Coat check will be available at a charge of $5 per item.

Dress Code:
When we say masquerade, we mean it! Hopefully you’ll have attended one of our mask making workshops earlier this quarter, or you’ve got your own in storage. If not, we’ll have masks available at the venue for you to pick from for a small fee - not mandatory, just encouraged.
As for your outfit, we’ll use a formal dress code - dress to the nines, we will too!

Ticketing Information:
Tickets must be purchased by a UChicago graduate student with a limit of one (1) guest ticket purchase per student. All attendees must have a ticket, including guests. Please be sure to enter your guest's name if purchasing a second ticket. Guest must be identified at time of purchase.
Tickets are limited by the venue capacity of 600 and will be priced in tiers. Each pricing tier has a guaranteed number of tickets; see below for release times.
Early Bird Pricing - January 30, 7 PM Central ($50)
Tier 1 Pricing - February 6, 7 PM Central ($55)
Tier 2 Pricing - February 13, 7 PM Central ($60)
Note: Must be 21+ and present a valid state ID or passport to attend.

REFUNDS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED IF REQUESTED WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE EVENT. For this event, we have activated automatic refunds to streamline the refund process. Please note that Eventbrite incurs a fee for this service. Because of guest count deadlines set by the venue, refunds will NOT be granted after November 1.
Re-sellers and purchasers must coordinate payment independently. UChicago Grad Council will not facilitate any transfers.
Once payment has been coordinated, resellers can change the name on their ticket to the purchaser.
