About this Event
Ignite Glass Studios is a thriving glass art community in a space where artists can create and grow, novices can experiment and learn, and young people’s lives are transformed by the power of this collaborative art form. In this workshop, you will learn the basics of one of the oldest art-forms in the world, making your own bottle stopper from colored glass. BYOB, but we’ll be serving pizza as well!
Post your experience at Ignite Glass Studios and tag @gc_uchicago and @uchicagograd for a chance to win free tickets to the Maroon Masquerade!
This is a paired event - you and one other person will have 10-15 minutes to work with an artist to blow one bottle stopper. While you're waiting your turn, you can enjoy complimentary pizza catered from Piece Pizzeria. Glass pieces will be ready for pick up five (5) business days after the event. 1 bottle stopper per pair!
REFUNDS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED IF REQUESTED WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE EVENT. See information here for reselling tickets.
Re-sellers and purchasers must coordinate payment independently. UChicago Grad Council will not facilitate any transfers.
Once payment has been coordinated, resellers can change the name on their ticket to the purchaser.
