We invite you to celebrate Women’s History Month at the Old Governor’s Mansion for our upcoming Free First Sunday event, featuring a panel discussion, Grace & Governance: A Reflection on the Past and a Vision for the Future. On Sunday, March 1st, we will be joined by esteemed community leaders Donna Saurage, Krista Raney, and Jill Kidder for an insightful conversation moderated by Adonica Duggan regarding the evolving role of women in shaping Louisiana’s professional landscape. In addition to this hour-long discussion beginning at 2:00 PM, guests are invited to tour the mansion free of charge between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM to view rarely exhibited artifacts from five influential women who changed the role of Louisiana’s First Lady and dominated politics in their own way. Please join us at 502 North Blvd for this afternoon of history and inspiration, followed immediately by a reception.
