Join us on a beautiful 14 mile walk along the Gower coastline between Swansea and 3 Cliffs Bay. The Gower Peninsula was the first area in Britain to be designated as an AONB in 1956.
The fee for this event is £25. £15 for the walk and £10 for the coach. This payment is non-refundable. It will only be refunded in the event of a non-weather related cancellation. *Tickets/spaces for this walk/event are pre booked and pre paid, please don't just turn up on the day with cash*
This is a linear walk so we can spend as much time as possible along the coast, we will have the sea in sight through nearly the entirety of this hike.
Highlights Include -
Mumbles, Mumbles Lighthouse, Langland Bay, Caswell Bay, Pwlldu Beach, Pwlldu Head and 3 Cliffs Bay
We start the day by meeting at the end point just above 3 Cliffs Bay in the Shepards Gower - cafe car park, Parkmill, SA3 2EH - What3Words ///differ.shining.sprinkler
The cafe opens at 08.00. Pay the lady inside. £5 all day parking (bring cash). We will then jump on the coach (coach leaves 09.00) and head off to Swansea to start the walk for 09.30.
Please bring enough food and water to sustain you throughout the hike.
This will be an all day hike in very exposed scenery, please bring plenty of layers.
We will be stopping for a couple of breaks with glorious sea views.
