The St. Cecilia Mass was written by Charles Gounod in homage to the patron saint of music. Written in 1855 and officially titled as Messe solennelle en l’honneur de Sainte-Cécilem, this exhilarating work is far from solemn. Cantoris will present this work, as well as Bach's Magnificat for the choir's first concert of 2024. Please join us on Saturday 18 May, 7.30pm at St Peter's on Willis.
