This approx 7 mile long trail based, and entirely off road route utilises the High Peak Trail and Green Lanes which pass close by Minninglow, and provide expansive views around the surrounding countryside. This route is suitable for more nervous/novice combinations and can be purely walk and trot. There is the potential to add a canter section if ground conditions permit.View the route demo video here:
Worth noting:
The High Peak Trail is a multi-user trail and you are likely to encounter cyclists and walkers with dogs.
Green Lanes may be shared with off road motorised vehicles.
The ride sets out from Hoe Grange across a short uphill section of their grass pastureland and returns via the same access. This may contain livestock.
Livestock (cows and sheep) are likely to be present alongside the route.
Sections of the route are surfaced with limestone hardcore which can become stony.
The route can include a trail escarpment which has reasonably high elevation and is not fenced. This can be avoided by re-using an earlier section in reverse.
Group sizes are limited to 6 plus guide. Under 18's are welcome, but on a first visit must be accompanied on the ride by an adult rider. All riders must have their own BHS Gold or equivalent Public Liability Insurance.
Payment of £38.50 per person secures your place. Please message the page for more info or to book use the 'find tickets' button.
